Conrad Kain Mountain Film Night

Following on the heels of last year’s successful Conrad Kain Mountain Film Night at J.A. Laird school (13 St & 13 Ave) in Invermere, the CKCS has decided to make this an annual event.

Doors open at 6 p.m., films 7 p.m. til midnight.
Film Tickets $12 at the door. Children under 8 free of charge.

Door prizes range from Alpine Club of Canada mountain huts overnight passes, a backpack from Ortovox Canada, a lovely aerial photo of the Bugaboos by photographer John Scurlock, and copies of the Centennial edition of Kain's biography:

Local Climbs, Conrad Kain to be raffled as a fund raiser for the CKCS.
Like last year, a brief talk on Conrad Kain's life and times and a selection of films will be shown to the students of J.A. Laird prior to the evening's program.

Due to time and space restrictions, the numbers of participants in the Bouldering Fest will be capped at the first 50 entrants.
